ATIPXpress is designed specifically to
provide Canadian federal government institutions with the automated
ability to comply with the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and Privacy
Act (PA) (together referred to as "ATIP"). ATIPXpress is a feature-rich
application that automates compliance with ATIP laws, regulations and
policies, and transforms the work of ATIP processing from paper, manual
labor and needlessly repetitive tasks to automated processes. ATIPXpress
is an extended version of FOIAXpress (www.foiaxpress.com).
FOIAXpress is sold in the United States and is the most comprehensive
COTS application available for processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
and Privacy Act (PA) requests with the largest installed base of any

ATIPXpress electronically stores, retrieves, redacts, and prints
documents for delivery to ATIP requesters. It also keeps track of ATIP
processing statistics and fees, and generates reports on the number,
type, and disposition of ATIP requests processed, as required by
theTreasury Board Secretariat and the Acts.In a recent evaluation by
